Why the need for so much speed?

Possibly the fastest “fishing” boat in production could be the 24-foot Lake & Bay, Mad Fin Tournament Edition with twin 300-HP Mercury High Performance XS (and by the way, twin means two, as in 600 horsepower). That's one horsepower for virtually every pound and a half of boat.
